The Grizzly Claw Trading Company has become a forum for many Western Montana artists and crafts people, with ever changing displays of museum quality woodcarvings, furniture, stone lamps, crystal lighting accents, metal art, pottery, Native American made reproduction artifacts, enamelware, stained glass and antler art. Also displayed are sheepskin mocs, fur hats, bear claws and elk ivories in silver, and a wide variety of unique beaded jewelry designs by Susan Baker and several other jewelry makers. Other items include Navajo and Hopi inlay jewelry, Old Pawn, and Southwestern pottery, as well as 1800's pipe tomahawks, old chaps, and many authentic historical items.
The Grizzly Claw is proud to be a member of the Alpine Artisans and part of the Tour of the Arts, with regularly scheduled artist showings, book signings and workshops.
For the crafter, we offer a full line of stone, glass, and antler strands on the Bead Wall, with sterling silver, findings and tools to make your own jewelry and craft creations. There is also an ever changing selection of old Trade Beads from around the world for the collector.
The Grizzly Claw Trading Company was founded on the diverse personal interests of the owners, Dee and Susan Baker, who invite you to sip some of our Montana roasted coffee and wander through our unique collection of barn wood and log furniture, one of a kind artwork, jewelry and gifts. Our customers come away not only with a unique product found in a secluded mountain valley of Montana, but with a story to tell and a fond memory to recall. Of course, we will be continuously updating our website, so check back often.
